Originally from Birmingham, Sam received his Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law in 1971.  He practiced law in Birmingham with the law firm of Johnston & Shores, from 1971 to 1975, where he specialized in complex civil litigation.  Sam moved to Gulf Shores in 1975, where he has maintained a rich and varied general practice involving civil and criminal trials and appeals in state and federal courts.  In addition he is experienced in real estate matters, domestic relations, juvenile matters, wills and estates.

Sam has been recognized by Martindale-Hubble with a peer reviewed rating of AV - PREEMINENT, the highest possible rating for ethics and professional excellence, based on reviews from local lawyers and judges.

Born and raised in Gulf Shores, Joseph graduated from Gulf Shores High School in 2002, before pursuing undergraduate studies at The University of Alabama and Troy University.  Before attending law school, he was involved in the real estate and construction industries.  Joseph received his Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis, where he attended on full-scholarship, graduating as a Scholar in Law in 2017.  He is knowledgeable in contracts, commercial disputes, real estate and family law.
